Pale yellow in colour with delicate fine bubbles, its nose is subtle, fresh and reminiscent of white blossom and ripe fruit, with overtones of yellow peaches and dried apricots. On the palate it is soft, fresh and mellow with delicate floral and ripe fruit flavours. The aftertaste is long and soft with a subtle sweetness. All in all it is rounded, rich and well balanced. Ideal for before, during and after dinner.

Taittinger Nocturne is an exceptional “Sec” champagne made from 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The finished blend includes over 35 “crus” from several different harvests, perfectly matured. The wine is ageing on yeast for at least 4 years before being “disgorged”. A dosage of 18 g of cane sugar per litre is then added. This dosage, combined with the rounded quality and maturity of this wine, gives it a highly distinctive body and smoothness, making it the perfect champagne to be enjoyed late in the evening. Taittinger Nocturne is a pale yellow colour with shimmering highlights. The bubbles form a delicate necklace of fine mousse. Its nose is subtle and fresh, suggestive of the delightful aromas of white blossom and ripe fruit, with overtones of yellow peaches and dried apricots. The first impression on the palate is soft and mellow and remains very fresh. It is dominated by flavours reminiscent of raisins and fruit in syrup. The aftertaste is long and soft with an enjoyable and full of flavour sweetness. All in all, a mature, rounded, rich, mellow wine of intense smoothness, tenderness and passion.

Pale gold in color with brilliant gold highlights, Nocturne is punctuated by a proliferation of tiny, delicate bubbles. The nose is subtle and fresh, with aromas of peach, dried apricot and white flowers offset by notes of breadcrust. The gentle dosage, just above the Extra Sec level, maintains an optimum balance between crisp acidity and mellowness on the palate, which is dominated by stone and tropical fruit and suggestions of raisins and fruit in syrup. The finish is long, full and delicately sweet. This versatile cuvee is a refreshing aperitif, perfect with refined desserts or after dinner, and is an excellent compliment to first courses, such as foie gras, that are classically served with an off-dry wine.
