High in the South – wines are grown at 1,200 meters and higher elevations, giving them a fine purity and finesse to go with the bold Mendoza fruit. From estate grown fruit and with a few months barrel aging, this is loaded with juicy currant and blackberry fruit framed by touches of chocolate and crushed herb. Plenty of heft – no one will call this “light” – but no heaviness in a tasty, drink now and with anything, Cabernet Sauvignon value.
