Boastful ripe aromas of Mirabelle plums, raspberry, and nuances of sweet anise and toffee on the nose. This Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with blended flavors of blackberry jam, chocolate, and ripe Bing cherries. Aged in French oak, vanilla and toasted hazelnut notes complement the velvety tannins, bringing a rich, voluptuous mid-palate that extends out into a silky finish.

94 Pts James Suckling- Lovely nose of blueberries, currants, hazelnuts, and mint chocolate. I like the texture of the tannins, which are plush and smooth, melting into the wine. Full-bodied, creamy, and already delicious.

91 Pts Jeb Dunnuck- The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Chateau Buena Vista is fresher and focused, with more sappy herbs, violets, mint, and both red and black fruits. It’s not green, yet it certainly has more herbal notes as well as medium to full-bodied richness, ripe tannins, and terrific balance. It should keep for 15 years. Unfortunately, it’s made in tiny quantities.
