We were very lucky to have collaborated with Corona Cigars on one of the first picks of these very special private barrels from the El Tesoro Mundial Collection and it is finally here! We specifically chose one that highlights the amazing peatiness from the Laphroaig casks to give you an El Tesoro that tastes so unique that you’ll be talking about it for years to come. This special edition anejo is first aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then rested in Laphroaig 10yr Scotch Whisky casks, which gives the fantastic El Tesoro anejo a peaty smoke nose and flavor, with hints of salty ocean air, while maintaining the classic roasted agave, fruity flavors, and long finishes that we love from El Tesoro, while still tasting like nothing that has come out of La Altena before!
