A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of Scapa single malt from Orkney, released as part of the Distillery labels series. It was distilled in 2005 and left to age in first-fill bourbon barrels until 2018, when it was bottled at 43% ABV. The label is enjoyably retro-styled, featuring an old, old wooden ship.
- Nose: Sharp green apple, melted butter, a touch of spent match underneath fresh malt notes.
- Palate: Creamy vanilla and runny honey. Citrus acidity develops.
- Finish: Chocolate biscuits, orange peel, caraway.
