Lobetia comes from the Lobetani, a small pre-Roman Iberian people of ancient Spain, established near where our vineyard stands today. This wine takes part of the heritage and tradition of the land, the same way the Lobetani did. Since its debut fifteen years ago, Punctum has been producing award-winning organic wines. Female oenologist, Ruth Fernandez, strives to deliver bright and well balanced wines that capture the terroir. Beautiful cherry color with shades of violet. Ripe fruit notes on the nose: blackberry, black currant, plum, and black cherry. Well-balanced with soft tannins.
Lobetia Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in an estate from organically grown grapes. Night harvested and cold macerated before fermenting. Aromas of spice, vanilla and ripe fruits on the palate. Well structured, with sweet tannins, full body, harmonious and long finish. Wine made with organic grapes.
