Macallan 30yr Sherry Oak Casks 750ml

Following distillation, The Macallan distillers remove the heads and tails of the whisky and collect approximately 16% of the spirit to fill into casks for maturation. This “cut,” which is among the highest of any Scottish distillery, results in a more full-bodied and and rich whisky. This highly anticipated 30 year old release is an expression from The Macallan’s Sherry Oak range; series of single malt whiskies matured in hand picked sherry casks from Jerez. Nose: Rich sherry notes, citrus, baking spice and wood smoke

Palate: Smooth and inviting, with notes of dried fruits, sherry, citrus and wood smoke.

Finish: Lingering and rich, with orange and spice.
