This holiday season, Maker’s Mark bottles are “making spirits bright” in these limited edition holiday-inspired bottles!
It starts with the water. Our founder, Bill Samuels, Sr., chose the site of our distillery because there was a spring-fed lake right on the grounds — a plentiful source of limestone-purified water. Maker’s Mark uses red winter wheat to create a bourbon with a flavor that finishes in front of the tongue where the sweet taste buds are located. Every barrel of Maker’s Mark is aged to taste, not time. We leave it to our tasting panel, including our master distiller, to determine when our whiskey is ready. After the bottles are filled, each is hand-dipped in our signature red wax. Every hand-dipped bottle creates a different sip. Every delicious drop is the same!
