The Cariñena and Garnacha vines used for the production of these wines have an approximate age ranging from 25 to 40 years, the vineyards of Garnacha are around 2,000 ft altitude in the area of Cornudella de Montsant on slate soils, Cariñena vineyards in Darmós and Masroig area on clay soils and Syrah vineyards are located on limestone soils.

(carinena, syrah and garnacha; aged in French oak for 18 months): “Inky ruby. The highly perfumed nose displays black and blue fruits, licorice, vanilla and smoky oak. Supple and expansive in the mouth, offering intense cherry compote, blueberry and spicecake flavors and a hint of floral pastille. Finishes sweet, sappy and very long, with impressive vivacity and depth, slow-building tannins, spice and floral notes. This sexy wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak casks.
