The Meletti family, through skillful blending, has created a delicious cocoa based liqueur. Meletti Cioccolato was created by Silvio Meletti as a winter drink, intended to be served warm. However, fans of Meletti cordials soon discovered its versatility. It can be used in a variety of drink and food recipes and is delicious cold as well as warm.
Just combining Amaro Meletti and club soda gives you an amazing pre-dinner aperitif — a perfect balance between sweet and bitter, brightened up with a bit of lemon. It highlights the liqueur’s caramely, chocolatey qualities without being too rich or cloying in the slightest.
This liquor is like liquid Chocolate. It is thick, and has a 21% alcohol content, higher than most chocolate liquors, and is unbelievably more chocolaty! You will truly be surprised!
Since this product is so thick, you will need to shake it to combine with other liquids to blend. If not, if will either sink to the bottom of your glass, or, the other liquor will float on top. Try these on for size.. If you do not have a shaker, just stir real well to incorporate!
2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
1 1/2 oz. Meletti Cioccolato
1 oz. raspberry liqueur (optional)
Splash Licor 43 (Spanish Vanilla Liquor) optional
• Combine the vanilla vodka, Meletti Cioccolato and raspberry liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
• Strain the mixture into a cocktail or martini glass. Add the Licor 43.
