Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey is crafted with four decades of experiences, passion, and zero compromises. Our master distiller Greg Metze, called upon a lifetime of experience crafting the finest whiskies in the world, and applied that expertise to the unique whiskey now held in this bottle. The result: a product of 95% winter whet and 5% malted barley delivering a bright and refreshing, yet smooth and layered wheat whiskey. We hope you sip back, relax and enjoy.

All whiskey is taken out of the barrel at cask strength. It’s then “proofed” with water to bring it to bottle strength. Traditionally, this process takes 24-48 hours. However, we choose to do it for significantly longer at very small increments.
