Our 2018 Pinot Noir is rich with a juicy texture. Aromas of root beer and candied marasca cherries lead to subtle notes of cinnamon, vanilla bean and custard. The mouthfeel is concentrated and expansive mid-palate. A youthful acidity brightens the palate, then finishes velvety smooth.
Grape clusters were hand-picked in the cool of the night, then hand-sorted at the winery. We gently de-stemmed the grapes using only whole, intact berries for fermentation. After extended cold soak, the grapes entered fermentation for 14 to to 19 days, then the free-run wine was drained to French oak barrels where the wine aged for 9 months.
