The strength of this wine comes from the selection of grapes we chose within our vineyard. The final blend included parcels from our best performing Cabernet blocks: Blocks 4C and 4D. Our vineyard practices sustainable farming and is a California Certified Sustianable Vineyard. Due to the inclusion of premium parcels, we see this Pull Cabernet Sauvignon as our best to date.
This wine was aged in a blend of French and Hybrid oak barrels, both in second use, as well as new French oak adjuncts. The wine was matured for 15 months prior to blending and bottling. The percentages are approximately aged in 70% French oak and 30% Hybrid oak barrels.
On the nose, aromas of black currants and cherries, with a tannic mouthfeel finishing with notes of mocha, raspberry and black licorice. Perfect to pair with red meats like filet mignon, sirloin, or other hearty dishes with a savory sauce.
