Ripe purple fruits, candied apples, caramel, mocha, and cocoa nibs on the nose. The palate is all smooth, silky fruit with spicy brightness. Walla Walla Vintners is one of Walla Walla’s first wineries, established in 1995. Currently, family-owned by Scott and Nici Haladay, with Washington native Derrek Vipond as the winemaker. For Walla Walla Red, they source grapes from classified vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley. This way exceptional grapes find a home at a steal of a price. Blend of mostly Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, balanced with Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
