A pre-industrial farmer distillers mash bill for new make character that stretches across the flavor spectrum. A straight rye whiskey aged 18 years, finished in Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. A nose that is sweet and aromatic with toasted almonds, caramel and subtle smoked maple. Palate of sweet barley grassy spice with a lingering soft honey note and a lengthy finish of dried fruit. Each bottle comes with a bespoke hand blown glass topper from Vermont.
Sweet and aromatic, with toasted oak, berries, and nutmeg on the nose. The palate is elegant and spicy, mildly fruity, and pleasantly floral. Vanilla and oak notes appear with time. The finish is wonderfully lingering, clean, and spicy on the finish.
